Werewolves/Lycans

The Werewolves and the Lycans were originally a peaceful race. They did not even attack humans. This was until the Vampires arrived. When that happened, everything changed. This was duuring the time of great prosperity for the Werewolves and the Lycans. This was durring the time when they still knew the magic of Nature. Then the Vampires came and took their knowledge of magic, and at the same time, making it to where all but the few Lycans could not control when they transform anymore.

The Werewolves and the Lycans worship one god, Silvanis, the God of Nature. He was originally what gave them powers, normally to the Shamans, but now that knowledge is gone. The Werewolves are almost no better then Beasts when transformed, stronger then even the strongest man, but weaker then most Vampires. Lycans are different. The strongest Lycan is not nearly as strong as the strongest Vampire when transformed, though close, as well as being out-matched because of the Vampire's abilities to use magic.

A Lycan turns into a Half-man, Half-wolf thing when they transform. This used to be what Werewolves AND Lycans turned into when they controled when they transformed, but no more. Now the Werewolves turn into larger dogs breeds when they transform. They can be any breed, they are just larger then even the largest normal dog, no matter their breed. Size does not necissarily mean strength either, a Werewolf that turns into a Pomeranian could be stronger then a Werewolf that turns into a Bull Mastif.

The Werewolves and Lycans are out for revenge, so they have turned from their peaceful ways to become the Army, which is what they refer to themselves as a whole. They are extremely physical beings, some even being good with ranged attacks when not transformed.
